Emergency tug at work

They are on the spot in all weathers, our Coast Protection emergency tugs. However how high the waves get, in an emergency they will be there within a maximum of two hours – for example if a ship is drifting in the German Bight or in the Baltic Sea because its main engine has failed. The operations are carried out by the crew and the boarding team with the highest level of expertise under extreme conditions. Here, we can show you insights into the responsible work of emergency tugs. Among the pictures you will also find some spectacular incidents, where our emergency tugs were the first to be on site to reliably help the victims.
